ASC work programme and advice on Government’s Climate Change Risk Assessment (Committee on Climate Change).
The Adaptation Sub-Committee published its work programme on 10 December 2009. The ASC was established under the Climate Change Act 2008 and will provide advice to Government on preparing for the impacts of climate change, assessing how prepared the UK is to deal with future risks and opportunities and by promoting effective actions to adapt to climate change by society as a whole.
