FAGUS 2010: Is there future for Beech - Changes, Impacts and Answers

European beech is important species in Central and South-Europe holding dominant position according to its overall portion and economic values. Due to climate change and a necessity of joint discussion on threats that could also have disastrous impact on beech ecosystems, Croatian and Hungarian Forest Research Institutes organize FAGUS 2010 symposium with the aim that it shall lead to stronger perception of vital problems that affect beech nowadays.
